The Thompson 1928 also known as the “Tommy Gun” is a perfect replica of the .45 caliber sub machine gun produced by AOC ( Auto-Ordnance Company) during the roaring twenties and on through the Prohibition era.

Best known for its use by mobsters during the prohibiton era, the “Tommy Gun” was designed for full auto mayhem, earning it the name “The Chicago Typewriter”.

This historically accurate replica, manufactured by CYMA is heavy but well balanced.

The Thompson 1928 features a standard brass barrel, responsive hop-up, wiring with tamiya small plugs, full steel gears and metal gearbox. The body of the rifle is made from metal, the stock and forend is made from convincing looking faux-wood ABS.

Firing controls, located on the left hand side of the replica above the magazine release, are simple to use and operate flawlessly.

The sturdy magazine release is one-of-a-kind and operated as a lever instead of as a button. The magazine included is the drum style high capacity variant that holds 450 BBs.

Its “peep sight” adjusts for windage and elevation without the need for tools.

The Thompson M1A1 Stick Magazine (sold separately) is compatible with the 1928 model.

The Thompson 1928 comes with battery charger and drum magazine, so the only thing that you`ll need is bbs - and a lot of them!
