Springfield Armory M14 DMR (OD)

The Springfield Armory M14 is an instantly recognisable weapon, infamous for its military service career - the M14 stands as one of the few rifles pulled from service, only to be re-introduced 20+ years later. It was originally deemed to be 'too good' for infantryman use in the 1970's, and as such it was replaced by the Colt M16 assault rifle. Later on it was adopted by the USMC for use as a DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle). Contrary to popular belief the rifles used are standard production line M14's which are then modified - they are not M21 rifles.

G&P, who are renowned for their M-series rifles, changed things up with their entrance into the M14 field. Unlike the world of M4's, not everyone does one - in fact, there are only a handful of manufacturers that do. The G&P M14 DMR is rear wired, and the battery goes into the stock - it can be run off of 9.6v NiMh, or 7.4v LiPo, however please note that this gun comes as standard with Deans (T) connectors, not the regular Tamiya connectors found on most other rifles.
