Airsoft guns fire small 6mm plastic BB's, which are available in varying weights and colours.

It is important to use only High Quality BBs in your Airsoft guns, and remember that BBs are not reusable. When BBs are fired from Airsoft guns, they weaken and could damage your gun should you try to reuse them.

Heavier weight BB's are the same size, but more dense - this makes them less affected by wind, and increases your shot to shot consistency in outdoor use. The trade off is that they are travelling at a slower velocity.

BBs are available in Biodegradable, and non-biodegradable materials, as well as a variety of different weights and colours.

A guideline for what BB's to use is outlined below:

• 0.12g BBs (Typically luminous colours) - Suitable for Spring pistols & M203 Grenades only
• 0.20g BBs (available in White, Black, and Green) - Suitable for Electric Powered Rifles
• 0.25g BBs (available in White, Black and Green) - Suitable for Gas Powered Pistols & Spring Powered Sniper Rifles
• 0.28g BBs (available in White, usually Biodegradable) - Suitable for 'Tuned' AEGs & Sniper Rifles
• 0.30g BBs (available in White) - Suitable for Sniper Rifles, especially Gas Powered Sniper Rifles
